  Menu was impressive for a 'Tea Room'. Food was fantastic - best home cooked chips I've had in a long time. Price of bottles of beer wasn't as bad I expected. Lovely scenery and the staff were very friendly. Oh and the farm dog 'Lolly' was a lovely silly thing!

  We've visited The Grainary twice over the last year and really enjoyed both stays. We found the accommodation comfortable, the facilities excellent and the feel of the entire place really relaxing and personable. The staff were wonderfully friendly and attentive, and the place itself is a really interesting location to stay with it being a working farm as well as a tea room and restaurant. They have an excellent selection of reasonably priced home cooked dishes, including vegetarian options and locally sourced produce to choose from, as well as local cheeses and real ales which I'm a big fan of! The farm is surrounded by beautiful scenery, as well as the farm's livestock which offers an especially unique experience. It's close to the coast, as well as the Yorkshire moors and a number of great places to visit, so is ideal for those looking for a base for further travel, or just somewhere to relax and unwind. Hoping to return again soon!
